Design By Yourself a CHAOS! Group

CHAOS! claims to connect people, browsing the same internet site. It allocates dedicated chat room for every world wide web site! So, a few people can enter the same room. To answer a room "overcrowding" problem CHAOS! proposes the following facilities:

  1. Defining the room status (Public/Private).
Public room renders all newbie's text to income stream area.
    Private room drops newbie's text.

  2. Defining the contact status (Accepting/Ignoring).
Ignored contact's text will be dropped even in Public room.
Accepted contact's text will be rendered even in Private room.
To toggle contact status, click on it's name on "Active Contacts" Panel.
One can also Ignore/Accept all contacts by clicking the button on the bottom of the panel.

Above features are controlled from "Active Contacts" Panel.
On startup the panel is open. Click "Open"/"Hide" button on the upper-right corner of input stream area to toggle "Active Contacts" Panel state.

  3. SBar Tool for on-the-fly fine tuning of incoming text rendering.
CHAOS! deploys a few tuning entities. Every entity has it own specific SBar.

The following entities have their own SBar.

The "MyText" and "Contacts" layout can be saved and will be automatically loaded on next session.

By rejecting or accepting income contacts, user compounds the participants of chatting group. By applying SBar on accepted chat participants, user fine tunes chat group for fast and favorable visual recognition. Being combined these facilities provide comfortable environment for end user.

The following examples show how one can compose its own chatting group from the same room to answer his unique needs.

  1. Scenario number one. Scenarios name "I am a mentor of the group".
I am guiding other people on some issue.

During the chat you may like to ignore some intruders or stress out the people, whose questions you would like answer first from "Active Contacts" panel.

  2. Scenario number two. Scenarios name "I am guided on some issue".
I am getting advises from advance mentor.

  3. Scenario number three. Scenarios name "I'd like peer-to-peer talk".

Nota Bene!
All internet connections are insecure and easily monitoring by third parties.
Avoid transferring sensitive information via chat even to known contacts.

Have fun. Chaos team.
